***2019 UPDATE***

2019 was quite a year for all of us at Allerton Cat Rescue…. in fact the busiest year we have ever had.
There seems to be so many more Felines needing help and a huge increase in the amount of kittens being born.
We were out trapping on the streets nearly every day from the end of Spring and were so busy with pregnant mums and kittens that we had to close our doors at the end of the summer.
We are totally voluntarily run and our volunteers were really struggling at times , but we battled through still striving to help as many cats and kittens as we could by doing OUR BEST to help them despite huge vet bills and no funding.

***HOMED IN 2022***
711 Cats and Kittens homed
Vet Bill was a staggering £141,000
Any help with this bill is much appreciated, you will find ways to donate above , wecannot help them without your help thank you

Our Mission – To bring light to the lives of unwanted and unloved Cats.

Allerton Cat Rescue is a non-profit sanctuary for felines abandoned, mistreated or otherwise between homes. All are looking for a warm, loving home and the means by which to live comfortably until they find one.

Allerton Cat Rescue was founded over 40 years ago by Brenda Satterley, it was formerly based at the Prune Park Inn, Allerton and is now part of her home on Allerton Road. The rescue is run entirely by volunteers, fundraising and donations, the running costs are approximately £1000 for food and litter and a vet bill of around £10,000  per month.
